8-6 ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Engine Removal/Installation

• Disconnect the side stand switch connector [A].

• Remove   the connector [A] from the bracket on the air suc-
  tion valve cover and disconnect the connector.

• Remove the clamps [A].
• Remove: drive chain [B] from the output shaft [C].

• Engine Ground Cable Terminal Bolt [D]

• Open  the clamps [A].
• Free the side stand switch lead [B] from the engine.

• Open   the clamps [A].
• Disconnect   the alternator lead connector [B] and release
  the alternator lead [C].
