8-6 ENGINE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Engine Removal/Installation

• Remove the clamps [A].
• Remove: drive chain [B] from the output shaft [C].
  Remove the
• Engine Ground Cable Terminal Bolt [D]

• Open  the clamps [A].
• Disconnect:
  Free the side stand switch lead [B] from the engine.
• Gear Position Sensor Connector [C]
• Remove:
   Oil Pressure Sensor Terminal [D]

• Open   the clamps [A].
• the alternatorthelead
  Disconnect         alternator lead connector [B] and release
                         [C].

• Disconnect   the crankshaft sensor lead connector [A].
• Open the clamp [B].
• and guidethe[E].crankshaft sensor lead [C] from the clamp [D]
  Release

• Remove    the bolts [A].
• Remove   the clamp [B] and left lower fairing bracket [C].
• Release the
  Remove    the bolts [D].
• [F] and removelead [E] from the right lower fairing bracket
                   the right lower fairing bracket.
