Fairings

• Disconnect
  sides.
             the headlight lead connector [A] on both

• Remove  (Both Sides):
   Quick Rivets [B]
     Upper Fairing Bolt [C]

• Pull the upper fairing [A] forward to clear the projections
  [B] of the upper fairing from the grommets [C] of the upper
    fairing bracket.
•   Disconnect the city light lead connectors [D] and remove
    the upper fairing.
                              NOTE
    ○When removing the upper fairing, do not touch the out-
      side temperature sensor [E].

Upper Fairing Installation
• Installation is the reverse of removal.
                              NOTE
    ○When installing the upper fairing, do not touch the out-
      side temperature sensor.
    Torque - Upper Fairing Bolts: 4.0 N·m (0.41 kgf·m, 35 in·lb)
             Windshield Bracket Nuts: 8.0 N·m (0.82 kgf·m, 71
               in·lb)
• Insert the hook [A] of upper fairing upper cover into the
  slot [B] of upper fairing on both sides.
    Torque - Upper Fairing Upper Cover Bolts: 0.50 N·m (0.05
               kgf·m, 4.4 in·lb)
