FRAME 15-19
Side Covers
Side Cover Removal
• Remove:
   Seat (see Seat Removal)
     Upper Fairing (see Upper Fairing Removal)
     Bolts [A], Collars and Washers
     Bolts [B] and Washers
•   Pull the side cover [C] outward to clear the projections [D].

Side Cover Installation
• Check   that the pads [A] are in place on the side cover and
  fuel tank.
• When   installing the grommets [B], face the large diameter
  side outward.

• Insert the projections [A] into the grommets [B].
• Tighten the bolts with washers.
    Torque - Side Cover Bolt (L = 16 mm): 0.50 N·m (0.05 kgf·m,
                4.4 in·lb)
             Side Cover Bolts (L = 12 mm): 3.0 N·m (0.31 kgf·m,
                27 in·lb)
